Cold Drip Bulletproof Coffee
A bulletproof coffee (or butter coffee) is hot black coffee combined with unsalted butter, and MCT oil – a refined coconut oil. Ideally, it’s blended, resulting in a smooth and creamy keto coffee which when consumed first thing in the morning, helps fuel the start of the day.
Adding fat to coffee isn’t such a new concept as you might think. Cultures including Ethiopians and Tibetans were drinking “buttered coffee” and “yak milk coffee” long before it became more widespread in the last few years.
If you're thinking that it’s very strange to put butter in coffee, butter is just aerated cream at the end of the day.
- 100ml cold drip coffee, heated
- 100ml hot water
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp of MCT oil
Add all ingredients to a suitable blender and carefully blend until smooth and creamy.
